The ground rules for using Study Buddy Live.
Last updated October 18, 2026
Study Buddy Live is a study aid. It reads a homework question and walks the student through hints, guided steps and a worked solution.
It is an assistant, not a teacher: explanations can be wrong, and an answer should always be checked against the lesson, the textbook or the teacher.
One account per student. Keep the password to yourself, and tell a parent if you think someone else has it.
The parent area is protected by a PIN the parent sets, and the PIN can be changed from that area.
The questions and photos you send remain yours. We use them only to run the service: to read the problem, produce the explanation and keep your history.
A subscription can be cancelled at any time through the payment provider. It stays active until the end of the period already paid for, and it does not renew after that.
We work to keep the app running, but it relies on services outside our control, so we cannot promise that it will always be available or that an explanation will always be produced.
The app is a study aid. We are not responsible for marks, decisions or outcomes that follow from using it. Nothing here removes rights that the law does not allow to be removed.
These terms may be updated, and the current version is always on this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the new version.
Questions about these terms can be sent using the contact details on the app’s store listing.
